شأنه شأن العديد من الآباء الذين يقفون على عتبات أبواب المسؤولين يستجدون بصيص الأمل في دعم قد يكون سببا لشفاء مريض أو مصاب من الأبناء .
أبو عهد 47 عاما معلم لم يترك في زوايا بيته شيئا يستحق البيع ولم يبق جارا أو صديقا أو قريبا إلا واستلف منه مبلغا لا يعرف كيف يسده ، لا لأجل متعة أو بناء أو شراء سيارة كما هو معتاد ، بل لعلاج كبير أولاده الذي ولد ليعاني المرض وينازع أوجاعه لكنه لم ييأس حتى اليوم من رحمة الله عسى أن يراه يوما يعيش كما يعيش أقرانه .

فور وصولنا استقبلنا السيد جميل أبو عهد في منزله الذي لم يبق فيه سوى بعض الفراش المتواضع بسبب العلاجات والمستشفيات ليروي لنا قصة ابنه عهد ويقول ، ولد عهد في العام 1994 بناحية السنية 10كم شمال الديوانية ولادة طبيعية حتى يومه الأربعين الذي ازداد فيه بكاؤه فعرضه على أحد اطباء الاطفال فشخص أن لديه خلعا في وركه الأيمن فقاموا بسحب قدمه بسلك لسحب العظام لترضعه أمه وهي واقفة حين يجوع ، بقي بهذا الحال سبعة أيام ، أخرجته بعدها ونقلته لطبيب ومستشفى آخر ببغداد وكان ذات التشخيص فطلب مني الطبيب أن أصنع له (حدوة حصان) فذهبت لسراج صنعها لي خصيصا لتربط بها قدمي عهد إلى صدره مدة ثمانية أشهر ، كان الحصار الذي عانى منه العراقيون في وقت النظام السابق في أوجه خاصة بعد (نزلة رمضان – هبوط سعر صرف الدولار) والراتب حينها ثلاثة آلاف دينار فقط اضطررت إلى بيع ما موجود في المنزل إضافة لبيع الحصة التموينية والاستدانة من الأقارب والأصدقاء دون أن ألمس تحسنا في وضعه الصحي ، وذات يوم مررت بالطبيب المعالج فأخبرني بأنه آسف على تشخيصه الخاطئ لم يكن لديه خلعا في وركه . فعدت به إلى البيت ولكن قد أخذت قدماه وضع شبه التصاق بصدره ، فطفل ولمدة ثمانية أشهر قدماه مشدودتان إلى صدره مؤكد إنهما أخذتا وضعا ، فنمو الطفل يكون حسب الوضع الذي يكون عليه الجسم ، فذهبت أبحث عن طبيب آخر لعلي أجد من يشخص حالته فطالبنا بمبلغ (2.5) مليون دينار وفي ذاك الوقت الحرج عن عملية جراحية فتدخل أصدقاء للطبيب تعاطفوا معنا وخفضوا الأجور إلى (750) ألف دينار ، وبعد شهرين عادت الرجل اليمنى لشبه وضعها الطبيعي بعد الجراحة والتجبير فيما بقيت اليسرى قريبة من صدره ، ووقف عهد لأول مرة ليملأ البيت فرحا وسعادة لكن سرعان ما تبددت تلك الفرحة حيث بدأت رجله تعود إلى سابق عهدها ، وكبر عهد بعاهته حيث كان يمشي على عكازين ، وذات يوم كان اخوته يلعبون بالكرة فأراد اللعب معهم لكنه وقع فكسرت ساقه كسرا مركبا أدى لظهور ورم بفخذه وحين راجعت الطبيب سمعته يهمس لطبيب آخر أنه قد يكون مرضا خبيثا لكن جرحه التئم وجبر كسره دون أي تداخل وعاد لحياته مرة أخرى حيث يذهب للصلاة في المسجد متكأ على عكازيه ، ويضيف أبا عهد أن الله منّ على ولده بالذكاء حيث كان يجيد العمل على الحاسوب وأجهزة الموبايل ويعشق الالكترونيات ، وعدت من جديد أترنح على أبواب العيادات الطبية والمستشفيات إلا أن الجميع أكد على أن حالة عهد ليس لها سابق ولن ينفع معه علاج في العراق فحتى لو أراد الأطباء بترها فمن أين يبترون هل يبترون من الحوض ويبقى نصف إنسان فرفضت الفكرة ورجعت به إلى البيت .

وها أنا اليوم أتعثر على عتبات أبواب السادة المسؤولين والمنظمات والجمعيات المحلية والدولية لعلي أجد من يمد لي يد العون لينقذ ولدي بعد أن بعت آخر المقتنيات ولم يبق أحد من الاقارب والاصدقاء إلا واستلفت منه حتى غرقت في الديون التي لا أعرف متى أو كيف سأسددها .
وذهبنا لأم عهد التي لم نفهم من كلامها إلا جملة واحدة أتوسل إليكم انقذوا ولدي بسبب رعشة صوتها المغموسة بالبكاء .
